HALF-LIFE / DIE ALREADY is HERE!

Three important pieces of news:

1. The BOOK is IN STORES. It hit stores a few days early. You can find "Half-Life / Die Already" by Mark Steele in your local bookstore. Border's, Barnes & Noble, and most Christian retailers all carry it. You can also order a copy at Amazon.com right here:  http://www.amazon.com/Half-life-Die-Already-Lived-About/dp/0781445523/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1206801724&sr=8-1

If you have already read a pre-release copy, please do me the favor of reviewing the book on Amazon.com as that really drives traffic to the book.

2. The NEW WEBSITE is UP. It's lots of fun and has a lot hidden within it's nooks and crannies. Check it out today here: http://www.halflifediealready.com

There are audio chapters, mix-tapes, a photo gallery, a guide to ninja points, and much much more.

3. The STEELEHOUSE PODCAST is now avaiable on iTunes. It takes a while for new episodes to upload to their site, so the best way to hear the new episodes fastest is to subscribe in your browser as directed a few posts below. But, the easiest way to enjoy the Steelehouse Podcast is to subscribe on iTunes (just search for "Steelehouse" and you'll find it.)

Podcast Episode 2 is now available and features Jeff Huston and myself discussing God and pop culture. Enjoy! You can let us know any podcast feedback you might have by writing to Jeff and I at podcast@steelehouse.com.

That's all for now! I'll keep you posted with bookstore readings and speaking engagements as they come along. In the meantime, look for new articles from me in the upcoming issues of both Relevant Magazine and Collide Magazine.

And ENJOY THE BOOK!

Mark,  I just finished it.  Loved it!  My first thought is, man, I can't believe all the crazy things that happened to you.  There were many times I cringed but I laughed out loud a lot too.  My main emotion while reading the book was a feeling of security knowing that God would get you through your stuff and he will get me through mine as well.  I especially appreciate the way you portrayed the spiritual warfare you were dealing with.  Your honesty is refreshing.  I like the alternate title..A year without a Hero.  I didn't see the siginificance of the cover photo until the last few pages but looking back on it I should have caught on to that a lot earlier.  On a side note I purchased 4 additional copies because I knew it was going to be a book I would want to pass along to some friends.  I gave one to my brother, one to my boss today, and my wife is taking one to a good friend of ours in Hong Kong next month.  Great book to read, great book to give to a friend. I'll definitely post a review on Amazon.  Awesome.
